Dear Alumni, Parents, Staff & Friends,

We are just a little more than a month away from the 2016 Rogers Invitational Golf Tournament on Friday,
August 19th at Green Valley Country Club. Once again we are anticipating a highly successful and wellattended outing. Since 2009 I have been able to contribute nearly $50,000 to various student-athlete
scholarships, multiple special projects as well as supplement all programs! Last year Rogers saw the return of
the boys & girls cross-country teams and start of the boys & girls lacrosse programs. With your help I was able
to bridge a significant funding gap that grew even wider when the schools budget was frozen mid-Fall.
Fundraising efforts have become a significant and vital piece of the athletics department so that I can continue
to provide our young athletes the tools and resources they need in order to learn, improve and succeed. This
would not be possible without the help and support of the generous Newport County businesses and individual
residents, who each year continually support our student-athletes.
Thank you for your continued support of RHS Athletics! In the past you may have played, sponsored a tee, or
donated raffle items. I respectfully ask for your continued support and generosity.
