Discussion: What is pitch?
Pitch is the highs and lows of sound. It is not the same as volume, but rather the difference
between the low notes on a keyboard and the high notes.
*Musical Bottles Demonstration* (Fill pop bottles with different amounts of water and blow
across the tops)
Q: How do you predict that we will change the pitch of the objects at the different stations?
Main lesson (35 mins):
In Groups of 3/4, complete activity lab worksheet. Switch each station after 5 mins.
Play music to switch stations.
Fill out worksheet.
