A large home at the end of a long avenue

of palm trees, il contes villa features a beautiful

terrace and oversized shuttered windows. It is
here that Amedeo visited Carmela and also
here that Maria-Grazia visited Andrea dIsantu
at the end of his life.

A caf run by the Esposito family, House

at the Edge of Night (Casa al Bordo della
Notte), is the heartbeat of the island. At
any hour, you can find islanders at the caf
playing scopa, drinking limoncello, and
gossiping under the bougainvillea plants.

The Caves of the Weeping are

a mysterious and miraculous
necropolis that, with the guidance
of SantAgata, are a refuge in times
of need for the islanders.

luring them away from The House at

A vision of pink concrete, il contes

hotel features a brass bell at the
reception desk and parking spaces
twice the size of the little motorcars
