The News
After the excitement of the Australian Election ending with a
hung parliament, people have been wondering who will be
the next Prime Minister. While it may not decide, a new
Morgan poll has showed that Malcom Turnbull more popular
than Bill or Shorten or, unsurprisingly Tony Abbott. We will
see at the end of this week who will lead Australia, and if
the polls are correct.
108 distressing calls have stretched the SES in Vic East past
their limits after heavy rainfall. The rainfall influenced a
disastrous flood. The SES and CFA were barely enough
combined to answer all calls for help. Hopefully the rain will
ease up over the week, but only time can tell.
Police have safely detonated a highly suspicious homemade
bomb found on the road in a Melbourne car. The police are
currently questioning a woman in her 20s about the bomb,
and what the consequences would have been had the bomb
not been found. More to come on this matter.
