Roen 1959. u Zagrebu. Diplomirao na Medicinskom fakultetu Sveuilita u Zagrebu 1983. godine, doktorirao 1992., naslov disertacije: Mutacije gena za fenilalaninhidroksilazu u stanovnitvu Hrvatske. Radi na Medicinskom fakultetu u Zagrebu i u Klinici za pedijatriju Klinikog bolnikog centra Zagreb, proelnik Zavoda za bolesti metabolizma. Podruje znanstvenog interesa su nasljedne metabolike bolesti. Voditelj znanstvenih projekata, publicirao vie od 100 znanstvenih i strunih radova. Prvi opisao nasljednu bolest zbog manjka S-adenozilhomocistein hidrolaze. Dobio Nagradu Ante ercer (2004.) i Nagradu Horst Bickel (2005.). lan Upravnog odbora i predsjednik Sekcije za bolesti metabolizma Hrvatskog pedijatrijskog drutva. Bio predsjednik Hrvatskog drutva za humanu genetiku. lan Povjerenstva eksperata Europske unije za rijetke bolesti. Born 1959, in Zagreb. Graduated at School of Medicine Univ. of Zagreb (1983). Ph.D. thesis Mutations of the phenylalanine hydroxylase gene in the population of Croatia at School of Medicine Zagreb (1992). Employee of the School of Medicine Zagreb and University Hospital Center Zagreb, Head of Division for Metabolic Diseases, Department of Pediatrics. Area of scientific interest: inherited metabolic diseases. Prinicipal investigator of scientific projects, over 100 publications. First described inherited disease due to the S-adenosylhomocysteine hydrolase deficiency. Awards: Ante ercer-Award, Horst Bickel-Award. President of the Section for metabolic diseases and board member of the Croatian Paediatric Society. Former president of the Croatian Society of Human Genetics. Member of the European Union Committee of Experts for Rare Diseases. Since 2010full member of CAMS, Currently a member of General Council.
