Installedbase Transaction Error
SYMPTOMS
Installed base record gets stuck in Installed base Error transaction with the following error
Error:
"The Contract Category selected in the profile OKS:OM Interface Contract Category does not
match with the merging rule category SERVICE API Programming Error: Installed Base to
Contracts Interface Failed."
CAUSE
The profile option OKS: Category for Order Management value was set to SERVICE at the time
of creation of Order and later it was changed to WARRANTY . This is causing the issue .
SOLUTION
We can process the error record as below :
Temporarily change the profile OKS: Category for Order Management value to SERVICE i.e the
previous value. Process the record in IB by resubmitting .
Change back the profile OKS: Category for Order Management value to WARRANTY as soon
the record is processed.
