FX Margin Update

Themarginrequirement(MMR)foraspecificcurrencypairiscalculatedasapercentageofthenotional
valueofsuchpair.Astheexchangeratesforanyspecificcurrencypairfluctuateupordown,themargin
requirementforthatpairmustbeadjusted.Forexample,iftheEurostrengthensagainsttheUSdollar,more
marginwillberequiredtoholdaEUR/USDpositioninaUSdollardenominatedaccount.
MarginrequirementsareudpatedeachmonthonthelastFridaytoaccountforsuchpricefluctuations.FXCM
doesnotanticipatemorethanoneupdateamonth,howeverextrememarketmovementsoreventriskmay
necessitateunscheduledintramonthupdates.Uptodatemarginrequirementsaredisplayedinthe
SimplifiedDealingRateswindowoftheTradingStation.Scheduledupdatesareonthefollowingdates:
