FOR THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE MEMBERS

Dear Sir ,

The following are the facts with respect to the Sale of the Property at Krishna Nagar, Delhi;
belonging to G.W. Masonic Polyclinic, New Delhi; under the direct control and supervision of
R.W.Bro. S. Krishnan, R.W.Bro. The Regional Grand Master of Northern India, under the
Management and Control of the Govt. of The Grand Lodge of India, for your immediate attention
information and necessary action:-

1. The Property built on a plot admeasuring 125 sq.yds. at Krishna Nagar was gifted to G.W.
Masonic Polyclinic on 18.09.1998 vide Deed of Settlement made by Sh. S. N. Chaturvedi for
specific purpose of providing Medical Facilities and other Charitable purposes.

2. Vide Agreement to Sell dated 11.06.2008, the said property was agreed to be sold for Rs.
81.25 Lakh. The deal to be concluded by 15.10.2008.

3. The payments received by the R.G.M.:-


i) Rs. 8,00,000.00 on 11.06.2008 Cash )duly recd
ii) Rs. 7,00,000.00 on 30.09.2008 Cash )
iii) Rs. 4,00,000.00 on 14.10.2008 Cash ) by R G M
iv) Rs. 62,25,000.00 to be received by 20.11.2008

Rs. 81,25,000.00

4. However, the Property finally was sold for Rs. 23 Lakh only vide Sale Deed executed on
11.02.2009. Payment received: 19.01.2009 11.50 Lakh
20.01.2009 11.50 Lakh.
The following questions arise:-

A. What was the Dire Need to sell the property meant for Medical facilities and Charitable
purposes ?
B. What was the urgency to sell the property for Rs. 23 Lakh only, which in the 1st instance
was agreed to be sold for Rs. 81.25 Lakh ?
C. What happened to the Cash of Rs. 19 Lakh received from Mr. Raj Kumar up to 14.10.2008
as stated in para 3 herein before ?
D. The Agreement to Sell for Rs. 81.25 Lakh was made with Mr. Raj Kumar, whereas the
actual sale of property was executed in favour of Sh. Anoop Sehgal and Smt. Sarika Sehgal
for Rs. 23 Lakh only. What was the urgency to Sell the Property at a loss of Rs. 58.25
Lakh ?
E. What was the need to change the purchaser and that too at a loss of Rs. 58.25 Lakh ?
F. What prompted the R.G.M. to extend the date of Sale from 15.10.2008 to 11.02.2009 ?
G. Whether the 1st Deal of Rs. 81.25 Lakh was cancelled ?
H. Is it a fact that on 11.02.2009 when the property was actually sold, its Market Value was
appx. 1.40 Crore?

The above questions need to be answered and investigated without loosing any time, in the
interests of Free Masonary and the general public.
