Term 3 Week 2

Welcome back to Term 3.

Parent/ Guardian

There is a new part to the homework for this term, we are now
Signature
learning our times tables. Last week we started with our 2 x
tables and this week we will focus on our 10 x tables. The plan is
to have a good recall of these by the end of year 3. We will learn
the x2, x10, x3 and x5. The tables song we sing in class can be
found on the weebly. You may like to try Maths Magician for some more practice.
Please remember to get a parent or guardian to sign your completed homework.
Homework is due on Friday and this is also the day we will test the spelling words.

Homework now consists of four parts:

Spelling Words: Divide your page into four columns and write your spelling words out each
night. Use the Look, Cover, Write, Check strategy.
Maths: Tables Divide your page and write out and learn your tables each night.
Math activities: Complete the math activity sheet.
Reading: Read each night and record the book title and the time that you read in the table
below e.g. Harry Potter. 15mins.
