Participation Information on Evaluation of Outward Bound Singapore Programmes

Introduction:
Thank you for participating in the Outward Bound Singapore (OBS) programme. OBS aims to
evaluate the effectiveness and impact of its programmes.
What does your participation in the programme evaluation mean?
Participants will be asked to complete a pre-evaluation and/or one or two post-evaluation forms.
Each form will not take more than 15 minutes to complete.
Expected value of results/ benefits
The responses to the evaluation forms will provide insights to the effectiveness of the OBS
programme. It will also allow a better understanding of the experiences gained by participants
and provide a means of feedback to improve its programmes for future participants.
Participation and withdrawal
Participants are free to decide at any time not to answer any question and/ or withdraw from the
evaluation. There are no right or wrong answers to the questions in our simple evaluation forms.
Participants do not need any special knowledge. We are only interested in opinions.
Declaration of Confidentiality:
Confidentiality of participants particulars will be strictly adhered to. All information provided
by the participants will be held in strict confidence. The completed evaluation forms will be
stored securely and are only accessible to authorised personnel. Findings from the evaluation
form will be presented as collective information in reports, articles or publications. However,
your positive comments may be quoted for research and marketing purposes.
