    2inchesthickPCC.See"howtomakePCC".
    Materials:

    Formwork:
    MakingFormworkforUGWTissimple.Justfixsideshutterallaroundwatertank.Theheightofside
    shutterwillbe1footand4inches.Sinceourbottomslabheightis10inchesandchamberheightis6
    inchessotheformworkheightis1footand4inches.Seetheaboveimage.
    Reinforcement:

    Inconstructionprojectyoushouldhaveacompletesetofdrawingsheets.Inthosedrawingsyoumust
    havea"structuraldrawingsheet"forwatertank'sreinforcementdetails.Thesheetwilllookliketheabove
    imagewithdetailsreinforcement.Placethebottomslabreinforcementasperdrawing.Andalsoplacethe
    watertank'swallreinforcementasshowninthedrawing.Atlast,placechamberreinforcementasshownin
    theaboveimage.OnethingIwouldliketoclearherethatisthechamber.Whatisthechamber?Whyisit
    provided?Chamberisaslopedconcreteportionprovidedinthecornerofwallandbottomslabjunctionof
    watertank.Itisprovidedtopreventwaterpenetrationthroughjoint.Seetheimageabove.
    ConcreteCasting:
    Forthissmallquantityofconcretevolumewenormallydependuponmixturemachine.See"howtomix
    concretewithmixturemachine".Youmayalsoliketoread"howtocontrolqualitywhenmixingconcrete
    withmixturemachine".Add200milliliterfoamlubewithonebagcementmixtureoraspermanufacturer
    instruction.
    Wesuggest,dochambercastingsimultaneouslywithbottomslab.Ifyoudosotherewillbenojointinthe
    bottomslabandwalljunction.AndtheJointwillbeinwallabovechamber'stopportion.Andwewillprovide
    waterproofingsheetintheupperportionofthechamberwherejointwillbe.Soitisbettertokeepthe
    concretejointinthewatertank'swall.Anotherthing,placingwaterproofingsheetinthejointofwalland
    bottomslabisdifficultbecauseofchamberrod.
    Followingthesesmalltechniquesyoucanmakethewatertankcompletelyleakageproof.Leakageinunder
    groundwatertankisdifficulttorepair.Sobecareful.
