To: All Parish Priests

On July 9, 2005, we had our Diocesan consultations or Pulsuhan with the
objective of listening to the urban poor especially the unchurched on what they
feel about the national situation. However, the attendees of that consultation were
predominantly church people. So, theres really a need to pursue this activity in
order to get the pulse of the unchurched urban poor. Hopefully, this Pulsuhan
will also facilitate the mainstreaming of the urban poor to the Church and the
designing a development program with them.
We conduct this consultation in the areas. The Pastoral Office of the
Diocese is tasked to take charge of the preparation and facilitation.
Attached is the copy of the schedule of the Pulsuhan from August to
October 2005. If in the area theres no available space to accommodate a big
group, we need your assistance by allowing the use of your parish church.
You and your parish leaders are cordially invited to this activity. Though we
wont participate in the discussion, our presence means a lot to our solidarity with
them.
