I recommend Samantha Seaberg as a High School Social Studies teacher within your
organization. I have worked with Samantha in my position as Principal of St. Mary School in
Lake Leelanau, Michigan.
Samantha began teaching at St. Mary in the fall of 2011 and remained on staff through the
2015-2016 academic year. She was responsible for teaching Social Studies to students in
grades 8-12 which included planning curriculum for American History, World Geography,
Government, Current Issues, Economics, and Psychology. Samantha also served as a class
advisor and coach.
Samantha has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages, especially young adults. Her ability to
connect with her students and her talent at teaching simple concepts, as well as more advanced
topics, is exceptional. She has excellent written and verbal communication skills, is extremely
organized, reliable and computer literate. Samantha accomplishes tasks with great initiative and
has a positive attitude.
Samantha has a supportive and collaborative relationship with her colleagues. She regularly
participated in activities related to professional development. She frequently volunteered to
participate in school events and community projects.
