Today the students will learn that all technology begins with some wires. They will be making music
using some fruit, veggies, and electricity using the Makey-Makey!

4.P.3.08. Observe and investigate the ability of electric circuits to


produce light, heat, sound, and magnetic effects.

Information

We will be learning about how electric circuits can create sound.

Activity

We will test and discover which fruits and vegetables make a better
sound and by using the Makey Makey.

assessment

The students will be asked to write a chart of which foods make a


better sound and record their responses. When they are done they
will write a short reflection about why they believe they came to
those results.

Summary

By using the wires and a paperclip to conduct electricity, they will


make music through different types of food in order to learn about
how electric circuits create sound.
