General Manager
Dear Participants,
We welcome you to Indian Institute of Coal Management (IICM), Ranchi
and congratulations for being nominated to this programme. We hope that your
stay with us will be pleasant and rewarding.
There is an un-written code of good business manners which governs the
way individuals should deal with its business partners and colleagues, to work
effectively, establish and sustain successful long term relationship.
Good manners and etiquette lend confidence and charm to an Officers
personality. Familiarity with this code of conduct gives us ability while conducting
official informal transactions. Our behavior, work style, ways of talking and
presentation of our view point have far reaching impact while performing our
duties or when we are representing our company. Disciplined life style and good
manners are some of the qualities of successful persons.
In SHISHTACHAR some salient aspects of common code of conduct has
been compiled which one has to practice while in IICM. It is a part of your
training module. I am sure that you will be benefited by practicing this common
code of disciplined life.
