4.11

REPORTING PER PUPIL COSTS

Each parent, guardian or other person having control or charge of a


child enrolled in the Falls Church City Public Schools shall be notified, in
writing, of the estimated per pupil cost for public education in the school
division for the coming year.

Such notification shall be prepared at the time the Superintendent


submits the School Board's approved budget to the City Council. The
approved budget will include the estimate of the amount of money deemed
to be needed during the next fiscal year for the support of the public
schools. The notification of per pupil costs will be based on such estimates.
Such notification shall also include actual per pupil state and local education
expended for public education in the school division.
