Installation - Connection

Caution in transport

The fountain must be transported in vertical position. If transported in horizontal
position, the fountain must rest unplugged in working position (vertical) at least 24
hours.
.
. 24 )(
Installation

Dont put the fountain in places where the sunlight can affect it directly or near heat
machines, like heaters, radiators, boilers, etc.

. ...
Separate the water cooler at least 5 cm (2) from the wall.
. )( 5
We recommend doing the water line installation with copper pipe, do not using
plastic pipes, because with time they impregnate of rare tasting, difficult to eliminate.
4

Before to connect the fountain let the water flow from the pipe until it becomes
crystalline in order to drain the water net.

.
Water pressure for installation:
:

Minimum: 2 bar (200Kpa)

( 200) 2 :
(If the water pressure is lower, the coolers M77ID,M72ID,M33ID might make
some noise)
M77ID )
. M33ID M72ID

Maximum8 bar (1200 KPa)

( 1200) 8 :
The models M77ID,M72ID,M33ID M33ID have a water pressure regulator that
is set at a value at the factory. If the pressure of the installation is different,
the cooler can vibrate or make noise, in order to avoid this, it is
recommended to fit the pressure regulator.

Purification filter C-117
Place a water inlet valve between the water main and the cooler or the filter using a
inch fitting.
Place the filter the nearest to the fountain, after the water inlet valve, usually it is
connected directly to the fountain water inlet. In this case, fountain and filter
become one component to connect to the water net.
In order to put correctly the purification filter, the arrow engraved in the lid has
to indicate the water flow direction.
5

Before to connect the fountain bled the water main by leaving to flow the water
until it leaves crystalline.
Wasted water connection (Except M-3ID, M-77ID, M-72ID models)
(M-72ID M-77ID M-3ID )
Connect the 30 mm (1.2) diameter wasted water outlet to the waste water line. The
waste line must be under the water receptor.
The models M-66, M66ALV,M6APU,M6APULV, M6APE, M6APELV should be mountain with the
original Canaletas waste water tube.

Let some water out through the hot water tap, to check that the
water tank is full before connecting the hot water switch located on
the side of the fountain.
If the fountain is out of use all night or during some days it is advisable to turn off the
hot water switch.
Caution in M-33ID, M-77ID, M-72ID models
The internal coil must be emptied in order to avoid the water overflow when
inclining the water cooler. To do this you must close the water supply and keep open
the water outlet tap or by pushing the lever until the water stops flowing.
Water jet adjust (except M-33ID, M-77ID, M-72ID models)
(M-72ID M-77ID M-33ID )
6

In all our models with jet & anti-squirt bubble receptor the water jet can be adjusted
)in order to have the jet over the bubble. The jet height has to be between 9 cm (0,3
and 13 cm (0,5) over the water receptor.

.
Pedal operated models

The adjustment valve is on the coolers upper-back. Turn the adjust screw clockwise
to increase the water flow.
.
.

IMPORTANT:

:
Check that the power supply is the same as the one stated on the side of the
fountain and set the plug in accordance to national rules, and then insert the plug
Earth connection is imperative. After installation, , the plug should be visible and
accessible.

.
. .
Cold water temperature control

In M-4A model the thermostat is underneath the fountain.
. M-4A
In the rest of models the thermostat is visible on the rear of the fountain.
.
Its adjusted between 5 and 10 Celsius and can be changed by turning the dial.
Turn clockwise in order to obtain colder water.
10 5
. .
Hot water temperature control in M-266A, M-72ID models
The thermostat is in the rear bottom of the cooler and is adjusted between 85
and 90 Celsius.
Can be changed by turning the dial. Turn clockwise in order to obtain hottest
water. Inside the dial there is a block cylinder. Its dangerous to

manipulate this because can allow water boil.

NOTICE ABOUT M-111 FILTER

You have to keep the stainless steel bottom filter supplement, which is inside the
filter because it is not supplied with the cartridges.

3. GAC Filter change

1. Close the mains water supply and unplug from power supply.
2. On Series 7 loose the condenser (1) from the hooks (2) by pulling.
3. Take out the filter from the bracket that is on the fountain (4).
4. Remove the filter tubes (5 and 6) and connect again the filter and verify
that water flow direction indicated on the filter is the same as water
input on tube 5 and output on tube 6.
5. Put the new filter on the bracket.
6. On Series 7 fix the condenser at its place with the hooks.
7. Open the water mains supply and plug to power supply.

4.Out of order fountains

.4
If the fountain has been unplugged from the electric supply during many days (e.g.

Use Problems

-
The water doesnt flow when operating the tap.
.

Check the connection to the water line, and see that pressure is enough (3 atm.
minimum) and see that the water tap is turned full on.
) 3 . . (
.
Check there is no obstruction in the receptor, drain trap or line. If the fountain
has filter, check if there is any obstruction in the cartridge.
.
.
If the previous points have been checked may be the water has become ice in the
internal tank. Unplug the fountain during at least one day in order to allow the tank to
thaw. Turn the thermostat dial in order to reduce the cooling capacity.

.
. .
The water isnt chilled

Check the fountain is plugged in and that the current is the right one.
.
Check that the thermostat hasnt disconnected the fountain, if necessary turn the
dial in order to connect the fountain again or increase the cooling capacity.
11

.
The water in the receptor doesnt evacuate

Check there isnt any obstruction in the wasted water line.

.
Check that any object doesnt obstruct the fountain receptor, trap and drain.
