Engineering Graphics Projection of solids

Time: 2 hrs each question carries 12 marks each

1. Draw the projections of a pentagonal pyramid, of base side 30 mm and height
65mm resting on one of the slant edges in VP and a plane containing that slant
edge and axis is inclined at 400 to HP.
2. A triangular pyramid of base edge 40mm and slant height 70mm is freely hung
on the midpoint of a base edge in such a way that the axis is parallel to VP.
3. A cube of side 35mm is freely spaced on space in such a way that the body
diagonal is parallel to VP and perpendicular to HP.
4. A cone of base diameter 40 mm and height 60 mm is resting on HP on one of its
generators, with its axis inclined 50 degrees to VP. Draw its projections.
