Gospel of Strength

Swami Vivekananda was a young hindu, dynamic monk who shook the whole world just by the
virtue of his ideas and character. He gave the world not doctrines, nor dogmas but what he gave
was the Gospel of Strength, the Gospel of Fearlessness .
He said "Strength, strength, it is that we want so much in this life, for what we call sin and
sorrow have all one cause, and that is our weakness. With weakness comes ignorance, and with
ignorance comes misery. "
He believed in the infinite power of man and said " You can do anything and everything you
want. Never think that anything is impossible for you. It is the greatest heresy to think so . If
there is sin, this is the only sin - to say that you are weak."
He also insisted the youth to have infinite will power and a tremendous faith in themselves.
"Nothing is stronger than the human will. Under my will the mountains will crumble. I will drink
up the whole ocean if I want -just believe in that and you will do marvelous works. "
This is his message to the Youth of our country. He is a great source of inspiration and
knowledge for the children of this nation. The bold words of this great monk can work as a tonic
for the youth's of this country. Even by remembering his words, you get the strength and
courage of a lion.
