TESTIMONIAL OF INDUSTRIAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AT PETRONAS CARIGALI SDN. BHD.
Please be informed that AZMEER ZAINURIN BIN JAINI (930121-13-6133) has completed his industrial
training at PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. Peninsular Malaysia Operation (PMO), Onshore Gas Terminal (OGT),
Kerteh. He was attached to Peninsular Reliability and Maintenance (PRM-T) for 28 weeks from 18th May 2015
and successfully completed industrial training internship period on 25th December 2015.
He has completed the training period as a trainee at PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. Peninsular Malaysia
Operation (PMO) and responsible to optimize the maintenance works at Onshore Gas Terminal. He has performed
the given task effectively within the time frame under minimal supervision. His main tasks during internship is to
assist the terminal Senior Maintenance Engineer to track and update all equipment status in OGT, assisting in
Daily Maintenance Report (DMR), Raise and Monitor the status of Unsafe Act and Unsafe Condition (UAUC)
including the near miss reported and lead and conduct the coordination meeting with the contractor for daily
activities progress.
He also actively involved in the rectifying and maintenance activities to enhance his knowledge such as rectifying
leakage at MOV 2922 between the OGT and Gas Processing Plant (GPP) that can save about RM 2.6 Million.
Besides that, he involved in troubleshooting and repairing air compressor K5410B activity, modification on
Condensate Transfer Pump (CTP) bleeding point and fix the oil leak at Transformer 1 in OGT. Moreover, he also
assisted the Maintenance Engineer in Upgrading Air System project for the Facilities Improvement Proposal
(FIP). Furthermore, he also experienced two times partial shutdown which were JDS Turnaround (August 2015)
and RDS Turnaround (September 2015) during his internship period that can give exposure to him about the real
situation during the turnaround activity.
I have no hesitation to recommend him if he were to handle similar or more challenging roles in his career. He is
highly motivated and able to bring your organization to a greater height. AZMEER ZAINURIN BIN JAINI is
a team player who is able to present critical solutions and creative ideas. He has the skill set, accomplishments,

Please be informed that AZMEER ZAINURIN BIN JAINI (930121-13-6133) has completed his industrial
training at PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. Peninsular Malaysia Operation (PMO), Onshore Gas Terminal (OGT),
Kerteh. He was attached to Peninsular Reliability and Maintenance (PRM-T) for 28 weeks from 18th May 2015

Operation (PMO) and responsible to optimize the maintenance works at Onshore Gas Terminal. He has performed
the given task effectively within the time frame under minimal supervision. His main tasks during internship is to
assist the terminal Senior Maintenance Engineer in all maintenance activities. Besides that, he also assisting the
Production and Operation team during his 28 weeks as the intern in OGT such as handling the schedule waste
removal with the vendors, taking the gas and condensate spot and composite sample, and pigging operation
activities. Other than that, he also helping the OGT daily activities by participated in giving the safety sharing
during morning meeting and assisting to conduct Safety Briefing for the new contractors and staffs.
Within his internship period, he experienced two times partial shutdown which were JDS Turnaround (August
2015) and RDS Turnaround (September 2015). He was contributed in both Turnaround to make the operation
done smoothly by assisting the operation team in preparing Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) system items for isolation,
monitor and key-in the Unsafe Act and Unsafe Condition (UAUC) reported and assigned by the operation engineer
to track and monitor the isolation valve to make sure isolation process can be done. Moreover, he also involved
in other activities to enhance his knowledge such as Gas Leak Test Inspection and Monitoring activities after the
turnaround has been completed. He demonstrate an active role in the teamwork and willing to learn something
new by his involvement in both turnaround starting from the preparation process, isolation and depressurised
activities until the pressurisation and start-up of the plant. Both JDS and RDS Turnaround can be consider as one
of the most successful turnaround for OGT which were 21 hours ahead from the schedule without any incident
happen.
I have no hesitation to recommend him if he were to handle similar or more challenging roles in his career. He is
