STITCHING INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. Find center of chart by following arrows from top and left
side towards center of chart and mark with pencil. To find
center of fabric, fold fabric in half and then in half again.
Where folds intersect is fabric center. Mark this with a pin or
piece of floss which will eventually be removed.
Step 2. Stitch all cross-stitches first.
Step 3. Attach beads as charted with designated floss color. The
Petite Misty beads are attached with a cross-stitch going
through each bead twice so that beads lay vertically. Refer to
General Beading Instructions.

Step 4. Attach Treasures as charted in color code.

Petite Leaves: Use two strands of medium green floss, a petite
emerald bead, and beading needle. Come up through hole in
Treasure, pick up a bead and return down through hole in Treasure.
Jasmine Flower: Use two strands of medium blue floss, a petite
periwinkle bead, and beading needle. Come up through hole in
Treasure, pick up a bead, and return down through hole of
Treasure.
Champagne Fuchsia Rondele: Use two strands of pink floss. Go
through channeled hole of Treasure. Secure well on back.
Step 5. Stitch whiskers using six strands of white floss. Come up at
one dot () and return down same dot making a 1/4 loop. Repeat
for other dot. Secure thread well on back. Trim floss loops and
separate strands to mimic whiskers.
Step 6. Cut fabric so there are 2 of fabric around entire design.
Center piece on Creative Charm and gently guide fabric to attach
to teeth of charm. Once piece is centered on charm, tuck excess
fabric inside charm. Using 9 of fabric lace, tuck lace in teeth of
Creative Charm, with open work facing out, starting at top center
of Creative Charm and working clockwise. Continue until top
center of Creative Charm is reached again. Tuck excess lace
inside charm. Firmly press back of charm in place. The charm
was finished as an ornament, using a 1-1/2 silk-wired colored
ribbon, tied into a bow.
Go through each bead twice so that bead lays vertically.

General
Beading Instructions
1. Separate floss into single strands.
The beginning thread (two strands of
floss in designated color) should be
held at back until covered with
stitches, or begin with a knot on
front side and cover this thread on
back with stitches as you work. All
other starting or stopping threads
should be woven securely into
worked threads at back.
NOTE: If you have difficulty putting
two strands of floss into eye of
beading needle, put one strand
through eye and pull end down so
there are two working strands.
2. Counted bead embroidery is
worked with a half cross-stitch.
Begin in lower left corner. Attach a
bead and finish stitch in upper right
corner. All stitches must go in same
direction in order for beads to lay
properly. Do not jump more than
three or four stitches without first
securing thread on back.
