APPLICATION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMME

SPRING 2017 SEMESTER (TERM 2, AY2016-17)

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
1. Partner Universities Overview List shows the partner universities which are available for exchange in the
Spring 2017 semester (Term 2, AY2016-17) and the number of exchange placements available in each
university.

2. Spring 2017 online exchange application will be open from 26 May 2016 (Thursday) at 0900 hrs to 5 June
2016 (Sunday) at 2359 hrs.

3. You can only submit 1 online exchange application, with a maximum of 7 partner universities in ranking order
of preference. You are also required to submit a study plan detailing your motivations of going on an exchange.

4. Please also ensure that your CCA records are updated by your CCA Club Leaders and/or SMU staff in-charge
of your CCA clubs/ activities on OASIS > Student Life > Student Life Management System (SLiMS) by 5 June
2016 at 2359 hrs.

5. All applications will be processed and evaluated independently. Requests such as going for exchange with
friend(s) will not be entertained.

6. Please consider carefully if you are committed to embark on an exchange programme before submitting your
exchange application. Students who reject an exchange offer will be accorded a lower priority in their future
exchange applications.

7. Please review all information on OASIS > Study > Other Study Activities > International Exchange >
Information (Regular Term) > Useful Materials and also read our emails carefully before submitting your
application.

8. Late or in-complete applications will not be processed.
