MEDICATION - If your child must take medication during school hours, you must fill out a
medication form located in the front office. This includes cough drops. There is also a specific
form for students with Asthma that must be filled out as well.
ABSENCES - Please call the schools attendance line (860-4678) by 8:00 a.m. to report your
childs absence. Please specify if you would like their work to be sent home with another child
or if you will be picking it up. Work will be ready in the front office by 4:00. If you know ahead
of time that your child will leave school early for an appointment, please send a note so that we
can have your child ready to go when you arrive. It is very disruptive to our class to have
students leave unexpectedly.
WATER BOTTLES - Students are permitted to keep a water bottle at their desk in the
classroom. This bottle must have a lid and should go home weekly to be washed. It should only
contain water, no juice or soda. Students may fill up their bottles before school only; they will
not be permitted to leave during class to do this. Water bottles are a privilege which may be
taken away if mistreated
FOOD NO FOOD ALLOWED FOR BIRTHDAYS OR ANY OTHER SPECIAL OCCASION.
THIS IS A FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP RULE AS OF 2015-2016 SCHOOL YEAR!

from home), focus on own behavior, be honest, fix mistakes, clean up after self.
AAcademics-be an active listener, complete work on time, show best effort, stay on task, be
organized, and a positive team member.
RRespectful-use good manners, follow directions the first time, be considerate of others and
their space, include and accept others, take care of personal and school property, use kind words.

you and showing you the motions.
Thank you for your support with these rules.
