Here we present the story of Colgate. How Colgate start? In 1806, William Colgate opened a factory starch, soaps and candles in New York, with the name "William Colgate and Company". After several years of sales, William Colgate died in 1857, and his son Samuel, who at first not wanted to continue the business, thought it would be right to do so. In 1872, Colgate introduced Cashmere Bouquet, scented soap United Nations; and the next year the company introduced its first toothpaste, whatever the aromatic times and was sold in jars. However, in 1896 the company changed the way to present this product and sold the first toothpaste in a tube with the name "Colgate Toothpaste".
