GENERAL DESCRIPTION
MULTICOR 400 is an aqueous solution of a proprietary amine/polyamine phosphonates. It is a new
chemistry for use in a wide variety of industrial water treatment formulations and applications. This highly
unique phosphonate blend possesses both phosphonate and amine characteristics. The product contains
several different aliophatic and cyclic amines containing nitrogen atoms that provide enhanced protection of
yellow metals. The multiple phosphonic acid groups provide mild steel and copper corrosion inhibition in
addition to threshold inhibition of mineral scales.
MULTICOR 400 provides excellent protection against corrosion and deposit formation. The superior
corrosion inhibition properties of MULTICOR 400 reduces, or even eliminates, the need for molybdate, zinc,
phosphates, organophosphonates, and tolyltriazoles used in many water treatment formulations.

SUGGESTED DOSAGE RATES

The dosage rate will depend upon the severity of the corrosiveness of the water to be treated.
Laboratory tests have demonstrated that 7 to 15 ppm active will handle most conditions in cooling tower
applications for both scale and corrosion.
PACKAGING
Multicor 400 is packaged in 275-gallon tote bins and 55-gallon plastic drums.
