The Oxford 1+1 MBA is a unique opportunity for talented individuals to combine
a Masters degree from one of several Oxford University departments with our
one-year MBA.

As a 1+1 MBA student, you will spend your first year completing
a Masters in your chosen discipline before joining the MBA in your
second year. As soon as you start the 1+1 MBA, you will become an
integral part of Oxford Sads diverse community, developing strong
relationships with current MBA students, international alumni,
prominent academics, and expert practitioners. You will have full
access to the career and professional development resources of
the Business School throughout your time in Oxford. By completing
the 1+1 MBA, you will become a dynamic leader who is able to use
management practices to translate specific knowledge into practical
applications with wide-reaching impact.

1+1 MBA application process
Candidates wishing to apply to the Oxford 1+1 MBA will need to
complete two application forms: one for the chosen Masters and
one for the Oxford MBA. To qualify for entry on the Oxford 1+1
MBA you must meet both programmes entry requirements.

Which Masters could you choose to pair with the Oxford MBA?

their Masters degrees with the MBA as part of the 1+1 MBA.

Oxford Pershing Square Graduate Scholarships


Every year, the Pershing Square Foundation awards up to five
scholarships to support outstanding students on the 1+1 MBA.
Pershing Square Scholars are exceptional individuals who can
demonstrate the potential and commitment to finding scalable
and sustainable solutions to world-scale social challenges. The
scholarship provides funding for tuition, college fees and a
contribution towards living expenses for the MBA year of the
1+1 MBA.
Criteria
Academic achievement
Leadership potential, demonstrated through experience
and motivation
Strong personal character, integrity and commitment
Commitment to address world-scale social challenges in
your career, either in an existing organisation or through
development of a new enterprise
Ability to envision how to achieve scalable and sustainable
solutions to these challenges
Detailed understanding of how the Oxford 1+1 MBA will allow
you to fulfil your objectives
How to apply
If you would like to be considered for the Oxford Pershing Square
Graduate Scholarship you must apply to the 1+1 MBA by
18 March 2016; unless you are already pursuing a partnering
Masters degree at Oxford University, in which case you need to
apply by 8 January 2016. Please note that some partner Masters
close their applications in January 2016.
In addition to the Masters and MBA applications, you must submit
an essay of no more than 500 words addressing the following
question: How do you intend to change the world? What does
this tell us about you as a person?
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview with the
selection panel.
