Governor Drake Lambright calls joint board meeting (2015-16 and


2016-17 district boards) to order on Sunday, March 13th at 12:58 pm
Introductions- Led by District Administrator Bryan Crenshaw
a. All board members present
District Administrator Bryan Crenshaw- overview of call
a. White packet of information for incoming district officerso Adult contact information
o Spring Board Meeting information
o ICON registration
b. Spring Board Meeting will happen on May 13-15.
c. A deposit of $200 for ICON will be due on May 1. The remaining
amount is due on June 27. Discussion regarding reduced costs
for the District Board will happen at the Spring Board Meeting.
Kiwanis Governor Dee Hudson
a. Promotion of Key Leader and her involvement over the past
years. Key Leader will be completely paid for by the District.
b. Discussion of how the 2016-17 District Board of Kiwanis and Key
Leader should work together to create a team dynamic
o Exchange of contact information between Key Club and
Kiwanis LTGs in different division. More contact information
available in packets
o Any District officer should reach out to Kiwanis in general if
financial aid is necessary. Often times, the District level can
aid a Key Club if their own Kiwanis club is unable to
provide them with the necessary financial support
District Administrator Bryan Crenshaw- District Resources
a. Distribution of Key Club International LTG packets- Executive
Board packets will be available at the Spring Board Meeting
b. Exchange of passwords amongst officers for district sanctioned
email
c. Goal: Push for a timely ERF submission with a 90-95% turn-in rate
o LTGs should contact Secretary Anna Mylvaganam for any
club information if they do not receive the ERF
Promotion of Kiwanis Family Relations between LTGs
a. Zone Adviser John Knapp proposes that Key Club LTGs to attend
spring divisionals for Kiwanis LTGs (led by Zone Advisers)
o These usually occur almost every weekend except Easter
Weekend and the weekend of Key Leader
Assistant Administrator for Finances Audrey Salesberry suggests using
summer to visit Kiwanis clubs due to the extra time
District Administrator Bryan Crenshaw- Officer responsibilities before
Spring Board.

a. Applications for committee chairs will be revised and examined


by the Executive Board.
o Governor Drake Lambright will send out this application
b. Lieutenant Governor Jonathon Bright asks about the
reimbursement and budget for this year
o District Administrator Bryan Crenshaw responded that $75
will be allocated from the start of the new term (April 1) to
September. Treasurer Finbar Hurley will create a budget to
be allocated that extends until the end of the term.
c. Secretary Anna Mylvaganam asked about a club list for
checking monthly reports and ERF submission.
o District Administrator Bryan Crenshaw will send an updated
list complete with division number, faculty advisers, and
Kiwanis adviser information shortly.
