Info:
This experimental/special purpose projectile was developed for testing the ballistics of the
experimental 15mm (15x115) round. The test was conducted by FN using a 20x102 gun.
The sabot is made from hard plastic, with screw-thread to fit the aluminum pusher. Inside the
pusher, a serrated ring is inserted to secure the core.
The 15mm ballistic test-projectile inside the sabot seems to be a one piece brass projectile (with
bored tracer cavity) and does have a weight of 69,8g (1077 grains).
The core has the number 4 written on it.
