The United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit granted the motion of James Howard, the appointed counsel for Rogelio Ramirez-Solorio, to withdraw from the case. The counsel had filed an Anders brief indicating there were no arguable issues with merit to appeal. After independently reviewing the entire record, the three-judge panel of the Eleventh Circuit agreed there were no issues of merit and affirmed both Ramirez-Solorio's conviction and sentence.

James Howard, appointed counsel for Rogelio Ramirez-Solorio, has filed a
motion to withdraw on appeal, supported by a brief prepared pursuant to Anders v. California, 386 U.S. 738, 87 S.Ct. 1396, 18 L.Ed.2d 493 (1967). Our independent review of the entire record reveals that counsels assessment of the relative merit of the appeal is correct. Because independent examination of the entire record reveals no arguable issues of merit, counsels motion to withdraw is GRANTED, and Ramirez-Solorios conviction and sentence are AFFIRMED.
