After her death, he remarried and purchased Western Villa in 1895. John Holder met Geraldine Knipe, staying with her aunt Elizabeth, and they married in 1872.

    Elizabeth Knipe moved into Pyndar Lodge, then called
    Bourne Villa, in the 1840s and stayed until the 1870s.

    By 1879, Francis Knipe, a solicitor,


    had moved into Pyndar Lodge. He
    remained there until his death.

    In 1864, Algernon Shewell, a bank clerk, who boarded at


    Western Villa, married Millicent Knipe. After her death,
    he married again and, in 1895, bought Western Villa.

    John, the son of Henry Holder of Yew Tree House, met Geraldine when she was staying with her aunt Elizabeth. They married in 1872.
