Dear Unit Operation Laboratory Assistant,

I am writing this letter to apply for the unit operation laboratory assistant, which was
advertised on the social media and print media about the recruitment of the laboratory assistant.
Firstly let me introduced myself, my name is William Wicaksono Darmanto. Im
currently studying on my 6th semester on Chemical Engineering major on Diponegoro
University. My studying experience at Chemical Engineering improved my academic skills,
leadership skills, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. I have fluent
spoken and written Indonesian as my mother language. I also have fluent spoken and written
English.
For my academic skills, subjects which I am studying that are relevant to the position of
unit operation laboratory assistant include heat exchange, thermodynamics ,fluids mechanics,
staged separation and so on. I already muster up my knowledge during my studies and currently I
want to explore more about the topics that I have chosen, which are drying and heat exchange.
For this kind of subject that I have already given on unit operation laboratory, and there is two
kind of subjects that I havent been given which is batch destilation, and flow of the fluids.
Drying and heat exchange are two of my preferred subjects, which I practiced on the lab
itself, I ensure you that I could manage the subjects, I already have a deep thought about both of
them and I am ready to give my all for the new practicant that would like to enroll for the next
semester.
