KTB Strategy to Face Second Half of 2016

PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB) as a distributor of Mitsubishi in
Indonesia inform the market share Mitsubishi Fuso commercial segment reached more than
47 percent or 38,586 units in 2015 . Under these conditions, KTB set targets sales increased
five percent, equivalent to 40,500 units in 2016.
Currently KTB has sold 15,531 units of commercial vehicles from January to May
2016 while the economy is still sluggish KTB remains optimistic that can get 56 percent
market share by the end of this year. KTB wants to keep its market share. So although the
volume of sales down but market share continues to increase. That means there are still many
consumers who prefer products from KTB.
To achieve these targets, KTB has prepared various strategies. KTB will release a
new commercial vehicle to be launched in GIIAS 2016. Another strategy Mitsubishi has had
some flagship programs such as Zero Down Time, Best Life Cycle Value, and Customer
Business Consultant.

Zero Down Time is strategy that puts the facilities and after sales service with high
quality which can be implemented without disturbing the operational time of
consumer vehicles. Zero Down Time manifested with 24-hour service center that only
owned by Mitsubishi Fuso.

Best Life Cycle Value is a strategy to provide a large selection of quality products
according to the needs of each consumer.

Customer Business Consultant is communication between KTB, dealers and

consumers are consistently organized gathering consumer along with the company.
With care about the consumer, the program became an opportunity Mitsubishi Fuso to
enter into a new target market.
In addition KTB acclaimed the ministerial reshuffle undertaken in July 2016 ago.

Mitsubishi optimistic minister reshuffle carried out by President Joko Widodo will have a
positive impact on the economies in Indonesia, including the national automotive industry.
In my opinion with the minister reshuffled can continue infrastructure development
stunted. One of which government policies Jokowi who wants to build infrastructure projects
in various regions, will stimulate automotive industry, especially for commercial vehicle
sales. This is evidenced by the national development that has been felt in the North Sumatra,
which is making the highway leading to Lake Toba. Surely this could be the stimulation of

the growth of commercial vehicles in the second half of 2016. KTB strategy in the face of
this national development plan is a good first step.
