    BERT
    You cant afford to be any more
    wierd, Steven.
    They snatch it off and toss it away.
    ERNIE
    (to Bert)
    Step aside. Lemme take care of this
    wierdo.
    Bert does.
    Ernie does an exaggerated boxing stance.

    Punches Steven in

    Steven coughs.
    STEVEN
    Why do you do this?
    BERT
    Your awkwardness is like an
    infection. Its contagious. You
    make everyone uncomfortable.
    STEVEN
    I can stop.
    ERNIE
    Im sure you would, Steven. If you
    could.
    Steven darts off. They chase.
    ERNIE (CONTD)
    Youre wasting your time!
    Steven spins around. He has a gun drawn.
    Bert and Ernie Freeze. Put hands up.
    STEVEN
    Dont move.
    ERNIE
    Steven. Look, we just...

    I'm sorry.
    They look at each other.
    STEVEN (CONTD)
    I dont wanna be a nobody anymore.
    He puts the gun to his head.
    BERT
    No!
    He shoots himself. Drops.
    They are stunned.
    BERT (CONTD)
    Omigod.
    ERNIE
    Holy shit. Aww...man.
    BERT
    Is he dead?
    ERNIE
    We gotta go.
    They head back.
    ERNIE drops to his knees.
    BERT
    Aww, man. I feel sick.
    ERNIE
    Hurry up.
    Betrtuns around. His mouth is bloody.
    He heaves again. Blood spills acros rocks. He heaves, again
    and again, THE SOUND OF +SPILING BLODD LIKE A BUCKET OF BLOOD
    BEING DROPPED/
    BERT
    Help me.
    Ernie jogs off.
    A horrible twisted moaning sound fills the air.

    Ernies jog turns to a sprint.


    The moaning grows louder.
    Deafening.

    Morphs into a high pitch shrill.

    Ernie flees through the forest.


    Then... Dead silence.
    Up ahead, Steven, back turned to him.
    Ernie stops.
    Steven!

    ERNIE
    Youre gonna burn in hell!

    TEH HORRIFIC MOAN,AGAIN.


    Stevn turns his head....One eye,.,bloodshot Red....
    Enire turns back. Trips. A jagged branch,
    CRUNCH.
    The forest.

    Stillness.

    KID (VO)
    Five times. I dare you.
    DEMON STEVEN...DEMON STEVEN
    CUT TO BLACK.
