Walk to School Wednesday
The first Walk to School Wednesday of the year will be Wednesday, August 17th! If you sign in at both walk to
school Wednesdays this quarter, youll be invited to the party at the end of the quarter! ASB student will
have a table set up near the bus loop for you to sign in. Do you live too far away to walk? No problem! Have
your parents drop you off at Willys or at the trail and you can walk form there! Do you have zero period? No
worries! We will be set up at 6:45am to check people in! You can also skateboard, scooter, or bike to school!
Lets help reduce traffic and go green! Dont forget, that Wednesday will be a GREEN spirit day! (8/3-8/16)
Need a spirit shirt?
We have a limited amount of shirts left over from walk thru! Shirts are $15 each. Come to room 3 to see if we
have your size so you will be ready for our FIRST black and yellow spirit day Friday, August 12th. (8/3-8/11)
AIM Drama Club Meeting
Welcome back! Actors in Motion or AIM is the Adams Middle School Drama Club. Our first meeting of the
year will be this week on Tuesday from 3:00 3:30 pm in the Drama Room (room 53). Come meet your
officers and find out about all the fun we are going to have this year. Open to all 6th 8th graders!
AIM Fall Musical
Do you want to get involved with the AIM Fall Musical, Willy Wonka Jr.? We will be having our Fall Musical
Workshop on Thursday from 3:00 5:00 pm in the Theater. It is open to all students who are interested in
auditioning as a performer and production crew (techies). Come find out more information on what to
expect, audition tips, and the multiple production jobs available this fall.
Boys Volleyball Tryouts
Boys volleyball tryouts are this Thursday after school from 3-5 pm in the Gym. If you would like to try out,
you must first have your parents fill out and sign an emergency contact form. You can get one of these
forms from any PE teacher or you can stop by McKnights classroom, room 29 to pick one up. For you to be
allowed to tryout, you must bring this form filled out to tryouts on Thursday (no exceptions). 8/1 8/4
Girls Softball Meeting
The meeting for girls softball, which is 6th , 7th and 8th grade, will be on Wednesday, August 3 after school at
the lunch tables. Information packets and tryout times will be discussed. The meeting should take 10
minutes. See you Wednesday. Tryouts will be afterschool on Thursday the 4th and Monday the 8th.
Snack Hut is back!
Come by room 3 on Thursday after school to buy a snack before you go home! Every item is $2.00. (all
quarter)
