ACTIVITIES:

Supervising the Commissioning and Start-Up activities of Photovoltaic, Wind,


Geothermal and Hydroelectric power plant, managing contracts between parts of
competence.
Preparation of Commissioning and Energization Procedures.
Documentation management for the delivery of plants to O&M.
Management of contracts for specialistic assistance at testing.

TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE:


Electrical and electronics engineering and industrial Automation.
Electromechanical systems, control systems and plant supervision.
Knowledge of main machineries, electrical equipment (HV;MV;LV,DC), automation
and telecommunications systems used in the renewable plants.
Constructional features of renewable power plants.
Knowledge of electrical safety standards, safety at construction, environmental
standard and Quality control.
Planning activities Techniques

Detailed requirements are the following:


ability to prepare detailed schedule of the commissioning and start-up activities
according to the schedule of the project
ability to supervise the team work and coordinate the project team (including
commissioning responsible of contractors involved in the project assembly)
ability to supervise the testing, commissioning and start-up of High, Medium, Low
voltage and DC equipment/electrical and electronic systems in compliance with the
reference standards, the project schedule as well as the safety and quality
standards in force.
Knowledge of the logic of electrical equipment protection (protection logic of
electrical machinery) and related instrumentation and relays setting.
ability to carry out the commissioning and start-up of the plant components
according to the commissioning, start-up, operation and maintenance manuals.
Commissioning activities reporting.
Troubleshooting.

EXPERTISE

It is required an experience of at least 5 years at the management and supervision of


commissioning and start-up of the mechanical/electrical systems of power plants or
similar installations (mechanical, paper-textile, chemical, petrochemical, energy, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS

Electro-technical or Electronic Engineering degree (MSc) or equivalent qualifications

NOTES

Full availability for frequent travelling is required, along with the knowledge of English
languages to an advanced level, both spoken and written. The Spanish/Portughese
languages are a plus.
