We have identified three major departments in our ad agency. They are
1. Creative
2. Accounts and client servicing
3. Output and visualization
Creative department
Sun communications is a creative derived department. The head of this
department is the creative director himself. This department consists of the
copywriters and the art directors. Together they figure out the right course of
action for a brand. They basically are the powerhouse of the agency.
The copywriters come up with the taglines and the story the brand should
convey. The art directors are responsible to come up with a fitting image of
the brand. Very simply put, the copywriters work on the TVC and RDC while
the art directors work on the print ads and the billboards. But their span of
work is much wider than that. Later in the flow chart well discuss about their
roles furthermore and that will hopefully clear it out even more.

Successful Campaign
The most successful campaign done by the agency is the Meril Splash
Campaign. It was launched in 2014.This campaign talked about the
perception of beauty in our society and did go against the conventional
methods while other products talked about fairness. The ad theme was
followed by the campaign done by Nandita Das,a very famous figure of India
who spoke against the random stereotype thoughts of society that beauty
lies in only fairness. She defined beauty as the freshness of mind and body,
whatever the skin colour is the contain of the campaign attracted major
concern in the society and changed peoples overview towards womens
beauty even a bit.
However considering this thought well-established in our society, the agency
emphasized on representing this concept in the ad of Meril-splash soap & did
so. The ad was so well visualized that touched everyones emotion and
helped to reestablish the existence of the brand quite well.
Besides, this campaign was the first ever successful event for the agency.
