Abstract
This study includes the importance of human resources information system in
strategic management, since these resources are playing a strategic role in the
organization, especially in the light of the transition towards a knowledgebased economy, where the human is considered to be an intellectual power
and a source of creativity and innovation.
The provided information of that system contribute to the achievement of the
human resources strategy, and ensure the integration and consistency with the
general strategy of the organization, as well.
