Nurse will initiate until
cardiologist
arrives.
Assure that 2-Person CPR
is initiated, Effective and
continuous. Assign relief
as necessary.
2. Cardiac Board.
3. Deliver O2 at maximum
rate per Ambu bag or
mask.
4. Suction
equipment
ready, turned to highest
setting.
5. IV
lines
started
at
discretion of MD.
6. Defibrillator
leads
applied.
7. Assign
recorder
to
document.
8. Request
non-assigned
personnel to leave area.
9. Upon
paramedics
arrival, transfer patient to
their care.
10. Patient transferred by
paramedics.
