Lake Michigan Twilight Cruise Company Purchase More Ships

CHI, Il. Jul,21 The Lake Michigan Twilight Cruise Company, the popular Chicago
architecture tours company, has doubled their accommodations by acquiring two new cruise
ships. The Morning Star and the Comet will be ready to launch on May 21.
Due to a fruitful operation season last year with hosting more than 45,000 passengers on
companys only two ships, the Twilight and the Star Gazer, the company decided to respond to
popular demand. That season resulted in an all-time company high revenue approximating $1.69
million. The company will be investing roughly $3.2 million into purchasing the ships.
These new ships will be larger than the current two, with a capacity to host 185 guests at a
time instead of only 120 guests. Doubling our fleet, we hope to double our passenger and
revenue in the coming years, said Jessica Parrilla, the general manager of the 12-year-old
company.
Both the Morning Star and the Comet are currently being built at Beth-O-Blarney Iron works
in Doublemill, Scotland. They will then be shipped to Gary, Indiana and re-assembled there the
week before the launch.

The Lake Michigan Twilight Company is Chicagolands number one rated tours company for the
past five years of its twelve years in business. Their only two ships have offered brunch, dinner,
and evening cocktail cruises that normally run three hours at a time. Their services are available
between June through the last day of October.
