Re: Kyle Roberts
kyle is a bright, hardworking young man who took his very successful student teaching
experience very seriously. His lessons were planned well and his presentations were interesting and
memorable. He possesses a voice which was good for lecturing young people, but he used it very little
for that purpose. It was used to present provocative questions to stimulate thoughtful thinking by the
students.
Classroom management was good. He created an atmosphere where students seemed free to
ask and answer questions and assist others as needed. There was a great respect for all and by all
kyle quickly and easily established rapport with fellow workers and students. His athletic
abilities helped with rapport. He did some coaching and seemed to relate easily to all
kyle’s background of Social Studies knowledge is remarkable—he made civics, and economics fit
into the students’ world. It was not a subject they took, but lived. Some in the classes were of voting
‘age and appreciated another younger person’s thinking and caring for the Government. He encouraged
them to think!
By the end of his student teaching experience, Kyle was performing as a seasoned teacher! He
will be a great asset to any school's staff.
