Kia ora Room 7 students and whnau,
I hope you have all enjoyed the break, and are
refreshed for Term 3. We are halfway through the
year, and I am so pleased with the progress your
children have made as well as the fine young men
and women they are becoming. They are showing
their ability to work hard until they see results
they are satisfied with. With this attitude, they are
sure to leave Room 7 at the end of this year proud
of their achievements.
Term 3 is a busy term, with 3-Way Conferences in
week 2, and our Education Outside the Classroom
in week 5, and the school Art Exhibition in week
9. Room 7 would love if you could join us during
EOTC week. We are desperate for parent help
especially Mon 22nd Aug.

Term 2 Highlights
We have had a really busy term! One of our
highlights was fundraising for Auckland City
Mission we raised almost $300 to help the
homeless community! Room 7 also enjoyed
participating in, and watching the school Talent
Quest. Congratulations to Fili and Vandra for
taking part in this, and Yanazee, Rejoice, and
Jasmin for making it to the final!
Finally, well done to Rejoice who made it through
to the Syndicate Black speech finals. Thomas and
Keshika also made it through to the Year 7
speech finals! Thomas came 3rd, and Keshika
came 2nd! What an amazing achievement
