Grading Policy For ALL Subject Areas


All assignments will be given a certain amount of points. Your job is to get as many points as you can.

Grading Scale:
A= 90-100 B= 80-89

C= 70-79

D=56-69

F= 0-64

**ALL students will begin the nine weeks with a 100 average in the grade book. It is up to each student to maintain his or
her grades.

Extra Credit!!

33. ALL students may turn in Extra Credit at any point during the nine weeks. Extra Credit product ideas are student choice;
extra credit topics must address the standards being covered in that grading period

Tardy Policy/Absent/Discipline:

AMS will enforce a 3 Strikes, Your Out policy regarding tardiness to class. All students will receive a clean slate at the
beginning of each nine weeks.
37. All minor Class I discipline offenses in my class will be documented weekly as follows: one= warning, two=removal from
activity, three = parent call, four = office referral. Please see handbook pg. 38 for Class I Offenses. Class II and Class III
Offenses will receive an automatic office referral.
38. All students will receive a clean slate at the beginning of each week. Habitual offenders will be documented and handled
on a case by case bases.
