Performance Notes
Einar N. Pedersen (1917-2005) was one of the Barbershop Harmony Society's finest songwriters. Perhaps one of his most famous
songs, sung by men and women all over the world, is I Love to Hear That Old Barbershop Style.
Welcome Song was written for his Greater New Orleans - Mardi Gras Chorus. Einar, 1987 Southwestern District Hall of Famer,
will continue to live in our hearts through the fine music he wrote for us.
As a final note: Questions about the contest suitability of this or any other song/arrangement should be directed to the judging
community and measured against current contest rules. Ask before you sing.
