The Sun
The position of the Sun by house (that is, the house that the Sun occupies in the birth chart) reveals an

Note that the Sun is more comfortable in some houses than it is in others. For example, the Suns energy
seeks to distinguish oneself as a separate identity. It feels very much at home in the fifth house which is its
natural domain. In the twelfth, however, it is not as comfy-cozy! The twelfth house energy attempts to dissolve

Moon in the 1st House
Your feelings are right out there for everyone to see, and you can come across as emotional and impatient, or
nurturing and caring (or both). Your first reaction is emotional, especially if the Moon is in close proximity
(within ten degrees) of the Ascendant degree. You need emotional stimulation, movement, and freedom to
express yourself in order to feel happy and fulfilled. Your moods are very changeable, and this can be quite
obvious to others. Because of your emotional sensitivity, you might often take things too personally, and react
too quickly. Developing an awareness that others emotions are just as important, even if they are not as overt
and immediate as yours, will be important.

When trying to understand some of the effects of Neptune on the affairs of the house that Neptune occupies, it is
helpful to think of the following example: if two people have decided to split the cost of an item, and that item
is five dollars, what would they do if nobody had any coins? The Neptune person would insist on paying three
dollars, and let the other person pay only two; and the Neptune person would insist that the other individual
never pay him back. This is a simplistic example, but it is illustrative of the character of Neptune. Wherever
