CIBIL Consumer Credit Information Report

Training Guide
Please read the descriptions below for guidance on understanding the elements of a consumer credit
information report from CIBIL.

Report Header Information

CONSUMER/BORROWER: Name of consumer/borrower.

DATE: Date of when the report was created.

MEMBER ID: Enquiring members code assigned by CIBIL

TIME: Time stamp of when the report was created.

MEMBER REFERENCE NUMBER: Reference number assigned

CONTROL NUMBER: Assigned to the enquiry by the system.

CIBIL TransUnion Score

SCORE
Indicates the Score Value
for the consumer.

SCORING FACTORS

Reasons why the consumer did not receive the most optimal score for a particular factor. Returned
only if the borrower did not receive the most points possible for a particular score factor. With
every score, a maximum of five (5) reasons can be returned.
Exclusions that are applied when a consumer has such factors as restructured, wilful default,
written off and suit filed in the past 24 months, on their credit report. For such an individual a
valid score between 300900 is returned with the applicable exclusion code.

Information on Days Past Due (DPD) or Asset Classification (AC), monthwise, over the history of the account. The leftmost number
/ value (182 in this example) is the DPD or the AC as on the date in the Reported field (December 2004 in this example). An XXX is
inserted for any month for which information is not reported to CIBIL.
Valid values: In case of DPD, a three digit number. In case of AC, STD Standard, SMA Special Mention Account, SUB Substandard, DBT Doubtful, LSS Loss.
Notes: If the account is closed, the leftmost number/value is the DPD/AC as of the Date Closed.
The credit report can display upto 36 months of payment history.
