CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
Land ownership and related issues have a distinct and
great impact on poverty reduction and wealth creation
in developing a country. This research is conducted to
determine the effects of selling untitled land which is
mostly common in rural areas. The will examine a system

rights

compounds their

lack of

access to

credit by

depriving them of potential collateral. This, in turn,

further adds to their poverty and insecurity. Lack of

within families and communities due to competing land

claims. Poorer families which dont have clear property
rights are also much more vulnerable to land grabbing
and corruption in property acquisition.
People nowadays are fond of buying land properties.
This research is conducted to determine how selling of
untitled land affects the community. We will find ways
how to deal with this kind of issue that is common in
our country. Legal right to own is important. Having
the certificate of title is probably the first thing to
be considered in land ownership.
At the end of this research, we will be more aware of
the things to be considered in purchasing a land. This
will help us know ways on how to deal with this kind of
problem in our community.
