This family, or set, of curves should always be defined in terms of R gi and not gas-oil

ratio (Rgo). The Rgo is equal to the Rgi only when the water cut is zero. The first step
after selecting the proper set of gradient curves is to convert the total Rgo to total
Rgi before determining a flowing pressure at depth.

Where:
Rgi = gas-liquid ratio, scf/STB
f0 = oil cut (1 .O - water cut), fraction
Rgo = gas-oil ratio, scf/STB
These Rgi curves always represent total Rgi, which is the formation Rgi below the
point of gas injection and is the injection plus the formation R gi about the point of
gas injection
