classic.

Focuses on the idea of disruptive innovation and the need to
understand latent needs among consumers.

Not a marketing book but highlights when ideas, products etc. take-off
6) Ogilvy on Advertising by David Ogilvy
A classic book important even in todays world with web analytics
and social media.
7) Blue Ocean Strategy by Chan Kim
10-12 years back, when this book got published, this book (and this
idea) seemed extremely radical. Not anymore but still a good read as
everyone should know what BOS is.
8) Purple Cow by Seth Godin
Extremely well written book on how to transform organizations.
9) Drive by Daniel Pink
A must-read for Marketing Managers on what motivates people around
us.

Especially useful for managers in the FMCG industries
