ruled)
(1) ruler (inches & centimeters)
(1) safety scissors (blunt end)
(1) pencil sharpener

TIME TO THINK
ABOUT THE
NORFOLK FOOD
PANTRY
Its time again to
consider all the ways
we are community and
think about how to support the Norfolk Food
Pantry during September.
St. Johns supports the pantry by donations
of non-perishable food items, monetary gifts
to purchase the perishable foods, and by
volunteers who sack groceries during
September for two hours each weekday
morning (9:30-11:30 am).
* Non-perishable food may be left in the
collection boxes in the west hall, the narthex
and by the church office.
* Monetary gifts (placed in an envelope
designated Food Pantry) may be placed in
the offering plate or dropped off in the
church office.
* To give of your time to help at the
pantry, check todays Registration Slip or
call Shirley Frowick @ 402-644-7882.
There is always a need for helpers. Please
strongly consider helping!
Thank you also for your donations of egg
cartons and plastic grocery bags which are
used daily at the pantry.

Chosen ChristCare is sponsoring a

Dutch-treat lunch on Monday, August 29, @
11:30 AM at Godfathers Pizza, 714 W.
Benjamin Ave., Norfolk. There is no
obligation to join the group -- we are just
going to enjoy each others company over

THANK YOUS FROM CAMP:

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to go to
Camp Carol Joy Holling. We both had a wonderful
time and learned a lot about Gods love.
Betty Books & McKyla Books
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to go to
confirmation campat Carol Joy Holling. It was my
first time going to camp. I had a lot of fun with the
people I was already friends with and with the new
friends I made. I really enjoyed riding horses and
the high ropes course. Most importantly, I
appreciate the opportunity to further my
understanding of God and how hell always be there
for me. I look forward to going to campt again next
year.
Sincerely, Haley Sterud
