309 HOLY HOURS were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. (Continuing Holy
Hour Testimony) Somehow, even in my indifference, Christ spoke to me in the depth of my
heart. It was up to me to choose to listen to His guiding Hand or stubbornly choose to try and
force events along according to my own will. I remember saying to Christ, I dont know what
to do. Everything I held as truth is now exposed as folly! I asked, please Lord, direct me the way
you want me to go, help me to recognize Your Will, open a door and I will walk through it. I found
myself getting out of bed in the middle of the night and driving to the Church where I received the
Sacrament of Baptism. There on the altar, twenty-four hours a day was a monstrance that held a
Consecrated Host. I found myself returning more and more and sensing somehow I was coming
closer to receiving an answer from Christ. (An adorer 4-5:00am) For information on becoming a
holy hour adorer, please contact Mary Jane Gardner at 330-753-9979.
The following men and women have recently committed to an hour of adoration before our Lord:

Mary Jane Andrews, Andrew & Christine Banks, Laura Cramer, Jean Flory, Mark Hammer, Gregg
Hete, Maryellen Ninni, Anne Sweeney, Jean Sweet and Mike Toomey, thank you and may God bless
you!

Eighteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

In todays gospel Jesus tells us: Ones life does not consist in the abundance of
possessions.
When we spend too much time working to obtain more stuff we
dont have time for the people in our lives. What is enough? Are the words of
Jesus, You fool, meant for us? Pope Francis warns us to resist a throw-away
culture which values things over people and relationships. Make time and space
for the people you love.
